His works complement the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The Wrocław exhibition entitled "Brzmienia" ("Sounds") will show forty works by the Basque sculptor. In addition, at the finissage in March we will be able to hear five works by José M. Sánchez-Verdú composed especially for the Wrocław exhibition. The music will be performed by accordionist I?aki Alberdi and the Sigma Project saxophone quartet. The sculptures of Chillida, who died in 2000, are not being presented now without reason .
